Denver Colorado Family Photographer at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, CO

I met up with Kathy (the florist) and her family on Friday night to get some shots of her family for some Holiday cards.  I used to work with her a couple years ago, but I hadn’t had a chance to meet the rest of her family so I was excited to get to see them.  They are such a good-lookin’ family!  And I love how they coordinated their outfits:)

And we even managed to get the kiddos to sit for a second to get a good one of all of them together. Awwww….

Hudson Gardens Littleton, CO Wedding Photographer

Cara & Joe wed in front of the Rose Garden at Hudson Gardens on Friday night. They are such a fun couple and I love how comfortable they are around each other. It was really a gorgeous, laid-back ceremony. We didn’t even have to worry about the evening rain we’ve been having this summer.

I love that the “first look” trend has caught on. I love being able to capture when a couple sees each other on their wedding day for the first time.

Denver, CO Family Photography Session Specials and New Holiday Card Designs!

Did you notice how cold it was on Thursday? I kind of like rainy weather, but I actually busted out a sweater. In July. Which got me thinking about cold weather and the Holiday season which will be here before we all know it (much to our chagrin right?)

Colorado Mountain Wedding Photography in Breckenridge and Silverthorne

Aaron and Jenny aren’t from Colorado but if you met them you would never guess.  I have lived here almost my whole life and I’m pretty sure they have me beat in every aspect of being outdoorsy, cool, laid-back mountain people.  Like many who aren’t from this great state, the pull of the beautiful mountains was too much to resist and they moved to Denver.  They invited all of their friends and family (most were from out of state!) to spend a few days up in Breckenridge and to join them at their wedding.

They say we get over 300 days of sunshine a year in this area and this was definitely one of them.  They wed at the Agape Outpost in Brekenridge on the outdoor wood stage.  But before the wedding got underway, we spent some time getting ready and taking some pictures.

Niwot High School Senior Photographer at Chautauqua Park in Boulder, CO

Part two of the best buddies from Niwot High School.  This is Megan.  She is Chelsey’s best friend.  They are adorable because they giggle a lot when they are near each other.  They are going to have an awesome senior year this year!

Serbian Wedding at Denver’s Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral

When I met Maja and Alex last summer I had no idea what I was getting myself into when they booked me for their wedding. They told me that they were having a traditional Serbian wedding but I really didn’t have a clue what that meant. Well this Saturday I finally got to see for myself what they were talking about, and I am stunned. (In a good way!) There are so many traditions involved in a Serbian wedding and even though I can’t remember all of the Serbian words for everything I’ll do my best to explain some of these pictures. (Maja and Alex, make sure you correct me if I’m wrong:)

Niwot High School Senior Photography Session at Pearl Street Mall & Chautauqua Park

I can’t believe my baby sister is already going to be a senior.  I swear not too long ago we were cuddling while she fell asleep to Dirty Dancing or Bob Ross.  It’s also a scary reminder that my 10 year high school reunion is coming up soon!  Agh!

I took Chelsey and her best friend Megan out last night to the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO and we did some stuff in the alleyways there.  The girls changed into dresses for the last part at Chautauqua Park.  She looks so cute and grown up.  Our Mom and Dad are going to love these:)

She looks tall to me in this one even though she’s not standing up. I am officially the shortest sibling these days:(

Ooh, and one last fun one. Not sure that I’m completely in love with the comp, but it’s kind of fun:)

Morrison Colorado Wedding Photography at Willow Ridge Manor

This past Saturday we went up to Morrison for Nick & Dani’s wedding at the Willow Ridge Manor which is very close to Red Rocks. I met Nick & Dani early last year and have been excited for their wedding ever since. They were the cute couple who met during a fire alarm when they were giving blood at their school. All through the night I just kept thinking about how they were such a perfect match for each other.

Dani was cracking me up. She was so irritated with her garter which was apparently sucking the life out of her:) (so she put it below her knee instead!)

What a gorgeous girl! Such pretty green eyes! Nick is soooo lucky:)

I’m seriously loving this shot of the guys. They look so intimidating!

I am obsessed with getting the wedding party shot where everyone is in their own little group. I’m starting to think it’s my signature shot.

One of her bridesmaids wanted to do a jumping shot which Dani wasn’t exactly interested in so I told her to look surly while the rest of them jumped. I think it’s cute.

Ok, so during the ceremony my assistant Gabby and I were standing near these cacti (is that even right? lol) and I suddenly decided that I had to try and get the ring shot with the cactus. Luckily I was trusted to run off with the rings later during the reception. I always bring them back safely:)

Dad was so happy for his little girl. He was so welcoming of Nick too. It was one of three very sweet speeches that night.

They just look so right together. Especially during their first dance.

I had to post these because it’s funny. Look at what the bouquet looks like before it’s thrown. And then what it is reduced to in the next!

Dance time! Mr. DJ played 3 Michael Jackson songs throughout the night so I was happy:)

Here is the flower girl Natalie being cute. I swear right after I took this shot she gave me the biggest smile.
